KeKasih

Pertubuhan Kebajikan Keluarga Kasih | Welfare Organization of Caring Families

KeKasih is a community-based organization comprising family members of death row inmates and former death row inmates. Led by an elected committee chaired by Hayati binti Mohamad, the organization represents a beacon of hope for those navigating the complexities of the resentencing process post the abolition of mandatory death penalty in Malaysia. We aim to secure grants to assist families amidst the resentencing process, advocate for necessary reforms, and facilitate the reintegration of former death row inmates into society, while fostering a sense of community and solidarity among those impacted.

SIUMAN

Rangkaian Solidariti Demokratik Pesakit Mental | Lived experience advocates for equity & equality

SIUMAN (the BM word for "sane") is a collective of mental patients and allies fighting for socioeconomic & political equity & equality for the mentally ill. We will work with any and all parties and organisations with progressive views on mental health. We also firmly believe that mental health advocacy should not stop at just awareness and destigmatisation efforts. With that in mind, we strongly believe that mental patients should participate in the political process (including direct action) to push for meaningful legal reform and policy change. We are here to encourage that participation.
